Will you Move for Freedom on July 13 to prevent human trafficking?
Right now, millions of people around the world are affected by human trafficking—and an estimated 1 in 3 victims is a child. Ally Global Foundation is a Canadian charity that works to prevent human trafficking and help survivors find healing.
Since 2020, Move for Freedom has raised over $2 million toward trafficking prevention programs and long-term support for survivors of exploitation.
You can make a difference in the fight against trafficking and exploitation.
By participating in Move for Freedom, you'll be helping to provide:
- education and awareness programs to prevent the exploitation of minors within Canada
- safe housing and long-term aftercare for children rescued from human trafficking and abuse in Nepal and Cambodia
- trafficking prevention programs and education scholarships in Nepal and Cambodia
- access to post-secondary scholarships and job training to help survivors build healthy, independent lives
About Move for Freedom
Move for Freedom is an annual fundraising event organized by Ally Global Foundation to prevent human trafficking and support the recovery of human trafficking survivors. Move for Freedom is taking place this year on July 13, 2024.
To join, participants choose an activity they love (like hiking, biking or yoga), create a team with friends, family or coworkers and set a fundraising goal. Leading up to the event date, participants share their fundraising page with their community to raise donations for the cause.
On the event day, participants "move" all across Canada (and beyond) to help prevent human trafficking and support the recovery of survivors.
